Rachel and Andy are hosting a celebration weekend 24th – 26th April 2026 celebrating Andy’s 25th Liver Transplant Anniversary and Rachel’s 60th Birthday.
This page refers to the weekend . It provides some general information and a timetable of events. Everything is optional of course, and we thought it might be nice to spend some time with folks outside of the main Ceilidh event.
It would help us with the planning if you would each fill in a form individually ASAP and by 15th April.
We are looking forward to seeing you.

Accommodation
Premier Inn, Mill Street
We think the Premier Inn is a reasonable priced place to stay that is very convenient for all the activities. We hope that if a few of you stay here you may get to make some new friends.
If you would prefer to stay with our Perth friends, please let me know. And if you live in Perth and would like to accommodate our friends from further afield, do tell us and we will match you up.
Extend your Stay!
Perth is a very central location in Scotland. Why not stay a bit longer and explore? You don’t need to drive. There are excellent direct train and coach services to all the cities in Scotland. Stirling and it’s amazing Castle is only 30 minutes away by train, and Dundee with its V&A, Verdant Works and RSS Discovery is even quicker. Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Inverness can all be done as day trips, though services to Inverness take just over 2 hours so you might want to stay overnight.
Gifts
Your presence is your present to us, but there is an opportunity to sponsor Rachel doing 10K in the Edinburgh Marathon Festival for Menopause Cafe charity and Andy doing a 100km swim (over the year) for the British Liver Trust.
